11.20.03 - 10:28 p.m. I find it odd that it hasn't been mentioned in the 'news,' lately that the Bush administration is really rallying to get the concept of overtime removed. Yep, say goodbye to the weekend, folks. If corporations are no longer required to pay overtime, you can bet that folks can be scheduled to work more hours. Well, I guess it makes sense that the news has overlooked it, the tale of Michael J does take up a lot of time, who really cares about the working american, anyway? Speaking of the 'news,' the other day a donor asked if we could turn one of our channels to the 'political' channel. I asked, "political channel?" Because I was unaware of having a channel devoted to politics. What he meant was the "news" channel. Fox news, to be exact. Sort of an Oxymoron, really. Since when did it be okay for news channels to align themselves with a political entity. I had always thought the news was supposed to be unbiased, and simply report what is going on. I guess those days are gone. It's sad, really. Moving on, because I doubt if anyone really cares....(If you do, you should head over to Moveon.org and see how you can make your voice heard on the overtime issue...or not, it's your voice...use it or not. That's what america is all about.) I am excited about my Mom and baby sister coming to stay with me this weekend. Mom's still recovering from her hip replacement surgery she had last weekend. I look forward to being able to wait on her while she's here. I also look forward to talking to her while she is on pain killers. She is so hilarious when she's drugged up. I am not laughing at her pain, by the way, I am lauging at her reaction to pain killers...two different things, I sware. Well, it's time for bed. I am curious to see what dreams wait for me. The past three nights I have had dreams that involve water in some way. Maybe this is some sort of symbol for me, or maybe I have been sleeping with a full bladder, who's to say? G'night...don't forget we're dropping bombs for peace in Iraq. What was that I read once, "Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity."
