06.17.04 - 11:04 a.m. Just killin' some time before I go into work. I should use this time to surf Monster.com for something new. Of course, any job I find will be for much less money than I am used to making. What I need to do is take out an Ad in the NY times asking if any bored rich guy/or gal would like to sponosor someone who made a lot of bad choices and would like to go back to college and start over again. Hell, they could make it into a reality show...call it "Born Again," or "Aiming for Happiness. I tried to get a car loan through my companies Credit Union. I have direct deposit there and I would be having the payments directly drawn from my account. I was shot-down. I told the guy I was in the process of paying off a bunch of my bills to help get my credit built back up. He informed me that paying off bills doesn't really help credit, albeit a few points. The only real way to improve your credit rating is to get credit...well, that's just fucking brilliant, now isn't it. Once you fuck-up you must have your face rubbed in it for the rest of your life...or until you get several credit cards and start acting like a real American. So...if there are any bored rich folk reading this and would like to sponsor me, and send me back to school so I can be a happy contributor to society...please let me know. Until then I will continue working a job that makes me steadily more unhappy and frustrated. If only I knew then what I knew now...horibbly cliche' but spot on. 2nd chances only happen to people who have been 'swanned,' guests on Oprah, lottery winners, and reality show folk. Well...time for work. Happy day!
